Urbanhound, a web resource center for city dog owners has been around for years in NYC. We got the press release that they were going "tri-coastal" on June 29 when they launched local editions in Chicago and San Francisco.

The site includes local directories from pet-supplies to groomers and walkers and reviews of pet boutiques and off-leash recreation areas.

A community message board, reader questions and expert advice coming from vet Dr. Betsy Brevitz and trainer Andrea Arden round things out.
