White fixtures, plain walls, dull tiles. Not much you can do in a bathroom short of renovating...or is there? Why not try a stencil? It's easy, it's cheap and there are all sorts of ways to use a stencil in a bathroom to decorate it and make it your own.
Stencil your floor: Follow Gregory's lead and liven up your bathroom floor with a stencil and some colour. With one stencil used four different ways, you can make these awesome faux-tiles.
Stencil your walls: We love the look of wallpaper in the bathroom but it can be expensive to buy or hang or it can peel. Get the look of wallpaper by stenciling a pattern on the walls. Here's how to do a repeating pattern!
Stencil a shade, a towel or a rug: A window shade is a great place to try out a stencil. Get ambitious and stencil a design on a towel!
Stencil your fixtures: Your toilet tank, your sink, even your bathtub can get the stencil treatment.

The stenciled yellow washroom above is all sorts of amazing! I might have to give that a go myself!
love love love that 1st picture. need that stencil. anyone have a good source?
That yellow bathroom isn't wallpaper???
It's gorgeous!
removable wall stickers are a renter's best friend. Like stenciling, but much easier to clean on move-out day. Plus, you can roll them neatly in wax paper, and take them on to your next home.
Love that stencil! Does anyone know who makes that sink?
Those floors look great!
The first photo is so lovely!
Does anybody know the source for the light fixture in the first picture? It's beautiful!
simpleLA - the sink is the Sapho pedestal by Porcher - http://www.porcher-us.com/products/productDetail.aspx?id=3360
i just got in my new bathroom and i love it :)
frygirl - the light fixture & hardware seem to be from Restoration Hardware in the polished nickel finish.
Very cute.
And not so girly that it's overpowering.
This is SO not as easy as it looks. I tried to stencil a pattern in my bathroom... and it wasn't successful. I bought Ed Roth's stencil book and stencils and honestly - they are very difficult to use and get a straight, clean pattern. Even when I used the stencils for a different project on a flat canvas, I found it difficult to get a clean image. You can read about my adventure on my blog here: http://mydesigndreams.com/?p=145
Such a pretty bathroom...

I have looked on both websites for the flower stencil. It does not come up with a week in paris search. Any suggestions...please?
