Every time I visit my local thrift stores there are always a few items that I feel sorry for. Old paperback books fall into that category. Their fabulously cheesy covers and titles are still giggle worthy, but you probably won't be picking one up to read any time soon. As an alternative, you could combine them with a few freshly cut stems from your garden. It's a different approach: do you vote yay or nay?
If you want to create a little conversation at your next dinner party, use artist tape (which removes easily and holds strong) to adhere paperbacks with interesting covers to a basic vase. Although it's not an everyday look, it is a bit fun and gives those sad books at the thrift store a home.
Is this look for you? Or not so much?
