For the last several months my home office has been in upheaval. I've worked from coffee shops, makeshift tables and even cross legged on my front porch but it never occurred to me to use my bed!

Now that isn't to say that I haven't worked while being in bed before. A fractured foot and sprained ankle right at the start of winter had me doing that, but when you're not into making a table, it appears that with a cushion for the floor, a bed will actually do quite nicely.

Try using something to keep your laptop up off the bed to allow extra air to circulate if you'll be using it for a long period of time, but otherwise, it gives you the mindset of doing work instead of laying in bed to lounge.

What ideas have you used in the past to get work done? Are you more prone to make a work station or just layout in the middle of the floor? Let us know in the comments below!
