I use a squeeze bottle for diluted vinegar in the shower. I rinse my hair with it (wash with soap). As a plus, I can also clean soap scum off the faucet with it.
In the kitchen, I use glass bottles (from beer, etc) for vinegar, oil, and mixtures of the two.
I don't use these. It seems fussy to go through the trouble of emptying something into an entirely different container. Unless the container is pretty. But for shampoo and conditioner? Unnecessary.
We use them in the kitchen to hold dish soap!
you can also fill them with old house paint and then do.. wait for it....

I actually take my squeeze bottles to my local coop where I buy shampoo and conditioner in bulk. I simply pump the stuff from huge bottles into my own. So, there are situations where you're not emptying one bottle into another. I definitely save money from not buying all the packaging.
We use a squeeze bottle for our olive oil. I doubted my boyfriend when he did it - but I came around. We both cook a lot and it is not only more convenient - but it's easier to use and the container stays cleaner.
I use a squeeze bottle for sweet and condensed milk. I use this in my coffee. The condensed milk comes in a can and is so sticky so putting it in a bottle makes it really easy.
