Instructables user zengineer used a strong and sturdy metal document organizer like the one above to hold his laptop straight up and his screen at eye level.
This litte DIY trick also has a smaller desktop footprint and has the added bonus of being able to store your books and folders neatly behind your laptop, leaving plenty of desktop space for USB gizmos you probably don't need.
