We still love to see black used in kids' spaces. Whether in the form of chalkboard paint or flat wall paint, black adds instant depth and attitude to any space.
We keep a list of our top 10 favorite rooms with black (or dark) walls, but after seeing this black accent wall over at The Glow, we now have a top 11. Interior designer Athena Calderone created this bedroom for her son. The bright yellow squiggly on the wall catches the eye and puts a smile on your face instantly. I agree, and am always confused when people say that dark colors make rooms look smaller. It seems the opposite to me.
