Though DC in the springtime is awash in a sea of cherry blossom pink, we find ourselves drawn instead to bolder tones of red when looking at home decor options. Paired with neutral tones, red can be the punch that revs up an ordinary space. Obviously combining our favorites would make for a red hot mess, but any one of these pieces alone would be a great addition to any home.

Red rocks! The dining room in our home was a deep true red when we saw the house for the first time and I'm sure it had a hand in selling it. Mind you, we've got through-windows... east and west)... keeps it from ever appearing to swallow the light.
