We're no strangers to audio around here, but introducing headphones and speakers into the home is certainly different than turning your favorite ringtone into an art piece, framed and hung right in the middle of your living room. But for those who enjoy this sort of bold expression, here's how to let someone else do it or have a go at creating one yourself.
Featured above is Vaporsky's Resonant art service that allows you to upload your favorite sound and they'll take care of the rest. The price tag is rather high, however, at $200-$700 per piece, depending on the size and color scheme you choose, but the idea here is certainly not unachievable via a simple weekend DIY project.
Have it be your favorite quote or Arnold Schwarzenegger yelling, "Get to the CHOPPA!," if you wish to create your very own canvas print of your favorite sound in the whole wide world, simply grab Audacity, record the waveform of your choice, and start sketching out the sound wave on a large piece of canvas. Then, add paint, mount, and hang. Voila!

I'd semi-DIY that--get the soundwave you want--print screen and paste as a tif (or whatever you want) and then get it on a canvas through canvas pop or similar.
