
This is a trend that's been holding steady for a while, maybe because it's very doable in small doses. Ever since we first saw Mary Tyler Moore sporting the giant M in her TV apartment, we've been a fan of decorative text in the home. Although we'd advise against spelling your name out over the sofa, a few numbers on the wall (like the ones shown left) could be cool.

I think you just have to keep your eyes open. I've been collecting the letter A for a while now, and hang them in a group on a wall. Part of the fun for me is the thrill of the hunt. One of the owners of Scout told me that they have them from time to time, and to check out the antiques market on Broadway.
