One of favorite things about setting up a new home office (or simply redecorating one) is the opportunity to plan a whole new layout. It was this very opportunity that led student, Vangelis, to a few different modifications to his IKEA bedroom, which also happens to double as his home office.IKEA Vika Amon table didn't fit in the place he considered using it in, he decided to cut it down to size. He doesn't regret doing so, as his workstation now fits flush with the corner he wanted. IKEA Ribba photo frames and a Lack shelf to get a similar effect. The shelf sits in the sweet spot, allowing him to stash his Apple Bluetooth keyboard and Magic Trackpad when he needs the desk space for other tasks, like homework. The overall effect is that of a monitor stand; there's even enough space for his iPad. His Genius speakers are also on the monitor stand, with some lighting hidden behind his iMac.
