While I love a single centerpiece — it can feel so purposeful and grand — right now what I'm really enjoying is using multiple small vases to showcase the blooms, greens, fronds, and herbs from my garden and local farmers markets. As we've reported before, there are so many different containers you can use for these carefree arrangements. It's also a great way to use collectibles (creamers, salt-and-pepper shakers, bud vases, shot glasses) that are gathering dust. Here's a sampling of inspiration from around the web.
#1 — A punchy floral scene from Martha Stewart
#2 — Salt & pepper shakers as vases at The Knot
#3 — A cheerful grouping from Seattle's Lilies & Lemon Drops
#5 — Alliums plus milk glass equals true love at Fern Cola
