Always on the search for green cleaners that get the job done well, I was happy to discover two new-to-me brands that are easily available (online at Target, Amazon and Drugstore.com to name a few). One line is for laundry and the other offers a set of products to cover the whole home (including personal and pet care) …
Vaska has been around since 1999 and, according to their site, is "a Berkeley-based company that develops advanced botanical solutions for household, institutional, and industrial cleaning. Our revolutionary products use real herbs to clean effectively – without harming people or the planet." Their products for the home market include a detergent, fabric softener, stain remover and oxygen bleach.
Eco-Me got started in 2005 and uses food grade products in their formulations, such as vinegar, baking soda and olive oil. In addition to their pre-mixed cleaners they also make DIY kits for producing your own.
Has anyone tried either of these? We'd love to hear your reviews and feedback - let us know in the comments below how they worked for you.
