Gardening in small spaces has its challenges which this home met head on. The unit was made completely from salvaged wood and will yield seven different varieties of greens and vegetables. Can you tell what they are? This garden belongs to Flickr member RR Anderson
and we love the look. The 3 beds are covered with newspaper to help hold down soil and keep the heat at bay up in Tacoma. In the boxes there's lettuce, spinach, carrots, beets, wallawalla sweet onion, peas and cucumbers. When used all together, that's one heck of a salad!
Do you have plans for a vertical garden this year or are you sticking to pots and raised beds?
