Great space, your work rocks! Bravo e tenace come siamo noi! pier.
Wow, what a wonderful video! I'm surprised there aren't more comments. Vicenzo, did you buy the space form the city? I am an artist without a space (I have a very big puppy who can easily reach toxic things, and our house is small), I am a little bit jealous of yours!
I truly identify with the idea that you "must be an artist because your friends always though you were a little weird wanting to do things they couldn't understand". How wonderful that there are weirdos in the world :)
I like your work. It is skillful and soulful. As an artist myself, I appreciate the high level of craftsmanship that you have achieved. And I'm impressed that you excel in two very different art forms, which doesn't seem that common. But perhaps there is a connection in that your portraits and acting are both about character and personality. I agree that the space in which art is created has to meet both physical and emotional needs of the artist. I also need a quiet, private space, a certain amount of comfort, and lots of light. Thanks for sharing--I love seeing where artists work.
My husband's grandfather's name is Vincenzo Amato. He is from Bisacquino. Do you think you are a relation?
Wonderful New York story!
I love Vincenzo Amato. And caffé.
