We've featured lots of creative book storage ideas here on Ohdeedoh, but it's always a treat finding a fresh (and fun!) way to make books easily accessible to our kids. What's even better? It's just a local thrift store or antique mall away.
Jennifer Perkins, an avid record collector, had several of these vintage record wire racks that she had accumulated over the years. With more children's books than she knew what to do with, she decided to use these old racks as a storage solution. Like most of us with kids, finding a creative book storage solution is an important part of the design process when decorating their space.
My youngest always wants to be surrounded by books, so there's always book overflow into other rooms besides our main book storage area. Jennifer's vintage album rack idea serves as a lovely design element while being a practical way to keep those books organized and off the floor.
