Here's a prospect for a party! What would you do if you found a Prohibition-era 2 lane bowling alley in your building? The lucky new owners of this building in Queens (a former sewing factory) contacted Scouting New York — a blog run by a film location scout.
From Scouting New York: "According to the owner, the bowling lanes were hidden under boxes and boxes of junk. After researching the property, the owner now believes the basement was a speak-easy club during the Prohibition Era, with two bowling lanes to entertain customers."
