Partners & Spade in New York City is hosting a swoon-worthy exhibition of vintage children's chairs. A mini Bertoia? An authentic Alvar Aalto? Sign me up.
Of course (of course), they are for sale. Alas, the price I thought was $24.00? Correction, that's $2,400. Still, it's instructive. Maybe you will discover one of these in your attic, or at the local church sale. Oh that I could squish my tush into these.

Commercial Flour Sa...
These are great. But I came to see the vintage children.
I always dreamed of stumbling across some of these in a garage sale for my kids... but who am I kidding; no one in the city in which we live would ever have bought something like this. Too conservative, no design culture :-(
LOL TML!
I love every single one!
I am a vintage child ! my family had the stacking set and they were so easy to move around and comfy to sit in.
Love every one of these vintage chairs! I'm always hopeful to come across such a great find!
I have chair shown in the second picture, the bent plywood chair, but in green. I found it at a consignment sale for $20 and always wondered about it. There were a couple others in red and blue that I wish I had snagged.
That's so awesome MUWACH. Lucky duck. That one as well as a few others were new to me.
Those are too cool, but I'm quite vintage and only recognize one of those (1st set of stacking) and they were from my children's era, not mine. Oh my. Now I just feel even more vintage. Alas.
