The wooden gypsy caravan has developed something of a cult in France, where people plant them in their backyards to use as guest rooms, playhouses and getaways. And for those who can't afford one, don't have the yard space or for the neo-nomad who has grown tired of the standard hotel bed, gypsy caravans are rentable at campgrounds all over France...
These photos are from the blog Dans Ma Roulotte, which chronicles the redecoration of this classic wooden caravan, which was dolled up with a green ceiling and fuschia paint -- and eventually painted blue.
