We didn't grow up reading comic books (but loved Super Friends and Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman), but we can still appreciate the more sophisticated, vintage-style take on these classic superheroes by Michael Myers. And if you do have a young (or old) comic book fan in your house, we imagine they'll appreciate them even more.
Matt is a designer and illustrator who also blogs about his own work and work he admires (like this super cool vintage-style Teen Wolf poster!). He sells his DC/Marvel-inspired superhero prints through Imagekind ranging in price from around $17-92 depending on size (more for framing). Available are Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Hawkman, the Green Lantern, the Flash, the Green Arrow and Captain America.

I love these!
Wow, takes me back to my Wonder Woman underoos!
That Wonder Woman is awesome. Very cool.
Not to be a buzzkill, but I am really surprised these haven't been shut down. The comics industry is notoriously protective of its imagery and licensing.
Wow -- these aren't just for kids! Love them!
I want a series in my hallway!
This guy does really great posters too. They are similar but have more of a modern feeling. http://www.etsy.com/shop/RoganJosh
love them!!!
These are all great!
patrick (the other one)--
You're right about the comic world being so protective.
Back in my cubicle days, my job was to secure permissions for things such as these. It was a nightmare and incredibly expensive to get Marvel Comics clearances, even for historical editorial use.
I hope he has all of his documents in order. He could end up with a big ol' "cease and desist" order.
Sadly, I think they were pulled from the site :(
I did not blow the whistle, I swear!!!!
Me neither! I was just sayin'!
