Lately I've been filling my eyes with images of beautiful Moroccan interiors. They somehow manage to feel beautiful and effortless and cool and strangely contemporary all at the same time. All that tile! All those intricate geometric shapes! Here, for your inspiration, are a few of my favorite examples.
Here are a couple of interiors from the hotel Riad Kaiss, a luxury lodging in Marrakesh. Spotted on Casa Vogue.
A view of the Majorelle Garden in Marrakesh, also from Casa Vogue.
The Marrakesh home of a Parisian artist, spotted on French by Design.
This is the Tangier home of Bruno Frisoni and his partner Hervé Van der Straeten, spotted on Vogue. That bathroom! And that kitchen!
Speaking of bathrooms... this beauty is from the Grand Hotel Nord in Tangier, spotted on Domino. Those tiles are to die for.
The Marrakesh hotel Riad El Fenn, spotted on Lonny.
Another Moroccan home, from Lonny. I love the layering of the textiles and the mix of modern and vintage furnishings.
Here's one final house, with a seriously covetable courtyard pool (and tile floor). Check out T Magazine to see more of this house, located in the southern Moroccan city of Taroudant. Warning: may induce serious envy.
