Spotted over at TreeHugger the BRS features a glass tank for direct visualization of water usage. An attempt to reduce the time people typically use for water to heat up, the system displays water temperature to the user.

does this "bathroom recycle system" actually recycle water? it would be nice if that was discussed.
also, it looks like heat + pressure loss would be an issue here. what a fancy and modern way to waste energy!

Nice for a show room, but nothing for daily use.
You loose pressure, so you need an electric pump to get the water out to the shower.
If you do not have super soft water you will have calcification in an instant. And even if you use "green" products to remove it, the water in the tank will be wasted ...
