We're all for transforming thrift store finds and IKEA pieces with decorative paper (it's just that sometimes we forget). Thank goodness Viv of (Ish & Chi) is a maven with leftover wallpaper. Her creative ideas will remain in our minds for a long time to come...
Top Row:
- Framed leftover wallpaper makes the perfect faux headboard in the bedroom
- Who needs a coatrack when you can frame paper and add hooks--instant spot to hang your layers
- Milk glass pops from its background when you add pretty blue floral wallpaper
- Spruce up IKEA drawers by adding paper to alternating drawers
- Wallpaper pasted on mounted plywood is the perfect backdrop for adding framed prints and inspirational bits
Bottom Row:
- DIY printed labels turn wicker baskets into searchable containers
- Colorful butterfly paper pasted onto hanging clipboards are academic chic
- An old storage unit gets a makeover with a roll of bright yellow wallpaper
- You'll want to keep your drawers organized when they are covered in fun, decorative paper

She is one of my favorite bloggers. I always find inspiration from her projects..
I am so happy that you share her photos on AT.
this post makes me happy. :) Such fun prints used in great ways. makes me want to split a few rolls with friends!!
The best part about it is that wallpaper companies are more than willing to part with old sample books for free!
Thanks Beth! And thank you for the comments.
amidalailama - I didnt realise this! Thanks for the tip. You can buy small sample rolls or pieces from wallpaper companies too rather than a whole roll and they are perfect for little projects like these.

Do you know where I can find the yellow bird wallpaper?
Thank you rosewater! The pillow is from Bed, Bath N' Table.
TracyK - it is Sanderson Options 10 Finches wallpaper which I bought on ebay from seller decor supplies
Love love love this post! Bold print wallpaper looks so much better, in the backs of bookshelves, than the grasscloth I'd been planning!
