Vizio isn't much of an unknown brand as it was a few years back. Because of their low prices and decent specs, buyers looking for a budget LCD did not have to look far to find a deal.
However, it looks like Vizio has bigger ambitions than just sticking in their budget niche; their new 26" minimal monster packs an all-glass ID that hides the bezel when it's turned off a touch OSD, and HDMI.
Specifications as indicated:
* Dual HDMI inputs
* DVI and VGA inputs
* RCA audio inputs
* Integrated 3W speakers
* 1920 x 1200 resolution
* 2000:1 contrast ratio
* 3ms response
* ultra bright 300 nits
Tipped for an August release, the monitor should be available for $450.

But does is it VESA mountable...
Hmmm... $450? Damn. Now I'm gonna have to decide between this and a Dell. I have a feeling that Dell resolution and quality would top Vizio though.
This seems like a pretty great deal, if the MSRP is $450, then I'm sure Costco will end up selling it for $400 or less. Vizio has a few nice products coming out. There's this and a higher end tv, the XVT range.
