We don't know about you, but whenever we have to wash dishes in the sink we have the hardest time getting our water temperature just right. Sure, it's not that complicated, but I like to make sure I'm not blasting a ton of hot water only to blast a ton of cold water to make the temperature bearable. It just seems wasteful otherwise. So we end up spending a minute or two (and wasting water the whole time, defeating our eco purpose in the first place) getting water temp and pressure just right. Well, if we had a few bones to spare, we'd get the Vado vtouch faucet...
The vtouch features touch-pad controls that let you digitally decide how hot or cold and how strong of a flow you want your water.

Shaw's Original Fir...
This is so silly and unnecessary. Do we really need to have such an invention? I'm sure it needs to be plugged in as well which is a complete waste of energy! C'mon!
yeah, i completely agree with edgardo60. it's cool conceptually, but i'm not sure it would even save water in the first place (though it would save you the trouble). are you having to spend a minute or two waiting for the water to warm up and cool down when you set your faucet handle to a certain position, or are you spending that time fiddling with the position of your sensitive faucet handle to get the temperature just right? if the former, it would seem to be a problem with your plumbing and the distance to your water heater, which this product wouldn't really help with. if the latter, maybe it would make more sense, but really... it's just dishwashing, do you really need it *perfect*?!!
I'd put something like this in the shower if I could, but that's because I'm really nerdy and like to know things like that. But for dishes, meh.
Agree: defeats the purpose of saving energy. But it looks cool!
