This Peaceful Progression Wake Up Clock uses that gradual lighting technique to wake you slowly and without "WTF is that noise? Is it morning already!?" moments. There's also a scent, which is released as the gently glowing lamp warms scented beads, and ambient nature sounds. So if you ever wanted to feel like you're waking up to sunrise in pine woods with birds chirping, pick up this gadget, even though the pleasure is gone as soon as you realize you're in your less-than-perfect apartment and have to go to work...

Thirty minutes before wake-up, the clock's light begins to glow softly, subtly brightening over the next half hour. As the light increases, the warmth from the lamp releases faint aromatherapy scents into the air, supposedly speeding the waking process. Fifteen minutes before wake up time, the clock's speaker generates your choice of nature sounds, and at the set wake up time a buzzer sounds to finish the cycle. The alarm can also be used to awaken using only sound, or just the buzzer.

Choose from scents like Energy, Morning Caf, Stress Relief and Lavender for your nose, and increasing tunes called Nightfall, Thunder Storm, Zen Melody, Mountain Stream, Songbirds, and Ocean Surf.

The clock can also be set to operate in reverse, gradually diminishing light, scent, and sound at night for a relaxing journey into the woods as you crawl into bed.
