- For the show Enough Already, the sleek grey wall-mounted nightstand is The Slice, from CB2
- IKEA's Malm is an inexpensive option. It is made to work with their Malm Headboard. Ehow offers instructions for attaching it directly to the wall.
- We like the rustic quality of The Structured Green Wall Mounted Nightstand. Made from Bamboo ply, it is available at Velocity Art & Design.
- The Wall Mounted Table comes in black as well as light wood and a dark wood and is available from Amazon. No drawer means extra attention to nighttime neatness.
- This IkeaHacker used a toothbrush holder and a basket to keep nighttime necessities nearby.

I love the first photo, and the basket and cupholder in the last one :) Great idea
I've spent a lot (too much) time looking for a wall-mounted bedside table with a drawer, which seems like a no-brainer. Does anyone know of one?
We wall mounted a Malm in our guest bedroom, love it!
I find this one a clever idea:
http://www.manufactum.co.uk/Produkt/193732/1405055/5/Clever-wall-hanger.html?articleNumber=20908&idx=5
and in comparison to some of the others almost cheap...
Sherr, the Malm has a drawer, so does the one diridi mentioned, and it looks like the CB2 one does as well.
Ikea Lack. 10 bucks. BAM!
To clarify, the Lack doesn't have a drawer, it's just a shelf, but that works for me :)
We have 2 lacks on each side of the bed. The small square-ish ones. They are awful. Even with just a book or two, they begin to pull away from the wall. And I've tried a variety of anchors including toggle bolts & zip toggles. I'll have to replace the drywall at this point. Might try the Malm instead. It looks like a viable alternative.
We have 2 Malms attached to our Malm headboard. It works for our space now, but I don't think I will stay married to them forever.
I too have had issues with the Lack shelves coming away from the wall once I added weight to them. They look great though - I love the simplicity of them!
These are great. I am considering building the foldaway/murphy nightstand on this site: http://www.readymade.com/projects/the_murphy_life_foldaway_side_table
You do realize that a wall mounted drawer doesn't take up any less space beside the bed than a comparable piece of furniture - it just doesn't sit on the floor.
Perhaps I'm not understanding... if you don't have room for a nightstand, how would you have room for a wall mounted one? My bedroom is tiny & I don't have room for a nightstand on either side of the bed. We do use an Aalto stool on one side of the bed, but it's crammed between the bed & the wall. The other side of the bed has my dresser a mere 1.5 feet from the edge of the bed. Sad face. Next house, I hope to have room for 2 proper nightstands- wall mount or just sitting on the floor.
The woman from this blog fashioned nightstands from Ikea magazine holders.

@ bepsf-- is that your logical Vulcan side talking? I was scratching my head over that premise as well.
What I want to know is where I can find something like this Stateside:
http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=110&storeId=10151&partNumber=564575
@bepsf - I don't know about anyone else, but we want wall-mounted nightstands to accommodate the drawers of a captain's bed.
Well, I guess technically you can mount any of these so they overhang your actual bed. They aren't so deep, so even with a twin you could probably mount it by your head. Just don't roll into it/sleep under it and sit up abruptly on waking!
I have a rather low bed and plan to use a cb2 clear acrylic peekaboo c-table as a nightstand; I'll be able to move it around and use my laptop on it (as shown in one of the product photos, actually). I just need it to pop up at half price on craigslist again... have seen only 2 listings for it since I started looking and was not successful in snaggng one. :(
I spy Ikea in the last picture! Why the heck I didn't think of that, the glass and wall mount. I see that do-hickey all the time when I go to ikea!! The basket? Ikea too? Hum I will have to go and see =)
It's not always about space, my bed frame has drawers underneath on both sides so to be able to hang the nightstands and use the drawers would be great.
We just bought 2 espresso-colored Malm nightstands last weekend and I'm going to attach prefab metal French Cleats from Home Depot to hang them. We've used these same fasteners to hang headboards and other very heavy objects safely and securely.
For us, the issue was finding a pair of nightstands that are tall enough to go with our extra thick mattress. We needed something around 32" tall and had little luck finding such.
I want the basket in that last photo! I keep searching, but all the ones I see are too wide, etc. Anyone seen one like that for sale?
