For those who want to jump on the wallpaper wagon but don't want to hang the next Woods Wallpaper, we'd like to share Wallpaper LAB. Based in New York, Wallpaper LAB creates limited edition artist wallpaper. Founded by Ron Keyson in 2006, Wallpaper LAB collaborates with contemporary artists to translate their studio works "into conceptually heroic wallpaper and wall stickers...[and] invited artists are challenged to pull the domestic world of wallpaper into their own aesthetic gravitational center."
Wallpaper LAB features wallpaper (of course), but also wall stickers and some furniture.

From left to right: Two Minutes; Playing Dead, 2006 by Douglas Gordon, Wood Wall, 2006 by Phoebe Washburn and Landscape Wallpaper, 2006 by Millree Hughes.
While these are expensive, they truly are works of art.
*Wallpaper LAB selections are also available at Artware Editions, WOW by Art Production Fund, the Lennen, Weinberg Gallery, and the New Museum.

I love the "Wavelength." It's expensive, but no more than an ocean view.
Don't dis on the "woods", man. I love that stuff. I would still put it up in a heartbeat, if it wasn't so expensive.
