You probably wash your bed sheets and pillowcases fairly often, but when's the last time you washed your bed pillows? They can get bogged down with dust mites, dirt, our sweat and all kinds of other unpleasant things you don't want within inches of your face while you're sleeping and at your most vulnerable. This weekend, wash your bed pillows.
This Weekend's Assignment:
Wash your bed pillows
You'll need a washing machine and dryer to complete this cleaning task (and depending on how many pillows you have to wash, it might take a few loads to wash them all) but because you can stick them in the washing machine or dryer and walk away while technology does its thing, this is the perfect cleaning task for a busy weekend (one perhaps where you're busy working on Halloween decor or costumes?).
It's a great task to complete to give you peace of mind that you're sleeping on something clean, and it's refreshing to lay your head down on a pillow newly out of the wash. It just might make you sleep a little more soundly tonight. It's also a timely cleaning task to do before the holiday season hits, especially if you will be entertaining out-of-town guests this year; you'll have clean pillows to give guests to sleep on!
