I have an adorable big black lab. While I love him very much he sheds like it's his job. In my quest to live a sustainable lifestyle without a lot of waste I have been on a search for the perfect swiffer replacement. Each duster has a 4 layer thickness of fleece. The best thing I've noticed about using these dusters is they don't flatten out like the disposable ones do, so they actually last longer. And don't forget the fact that they are washer and dryer safe (with out fabric softener)
My favorite part, though, is that every time you wash them the fleece gets a little bit better a picking up dust. The more I clean the better they do!

A standard washcloth fits the swiffer sweeper. I use it for dry and wet mopping.
Saw these on Pinterest last week and thought they were fantastic! Considered making some myself, but ended up ordering them instead. I really like them so far, and my Swiffer is now being put to use...formerly I was avoiding buying refills, so it was gathering...dust. Har. (But true.)
Perfect!! I've been meaning to find a replacement, but haven't found the time. Meanwhile, a thin layer of dog hair and dander has accumulated. Ordering today!
