We make lists for everything. Mostly because we feel immense satisfaction when checking items off of our lists. So these check-the-box tiles by Claude Closky immediately caught our attention. We love the clean look of black and white in the bathroom, but would you put these tiles in your home? Survey below the jump...

I would only put them in a place like the bathroom where the novelty of the tiles wouldn't be obnoxious or overwhelming. Plus I feel like the boxes with the ticks in them are slightly smaller than the empty boxes, which would annoy me if I had to look at it frequently.
A bathroom is supposed to be relaxing. This would stress me out!
I think the stick out boxes would be very hard to clean, so I say no.
I agree withh kollros. It would just remind of projects that I need to check off of my to-do list. I don't need that when I'm soaking in the tub.
Are there other "witty" touches in that room?
I don't especially like them -
i think theyre kinda cool. but in 5 years they'd look sooooo 2008.
its not very green to have planned obsolescence for tiles.
I think that plasticorange is really onto something. That's the big problem with looks that are so very specific -- there really is an expiration date to certain kinds of novelty, and although in way there's something vaguely classic about this, it's basically too specific.
But also... grrrliz and kolros are right about the stress thing.
It's sad enough that one might be besieged with one's own mental checklist of things to do while soaking in a tub, but to have them literally dancing above your head is not very restful.
They look ridiculous.
Horrible!
These are so lame, I don't even know where to start.
I like the ones that are unchecked, just as tiles. You could do a cool geometric thing with them, or just randomly array boxes on your wall. The checked ones, however, look silly. I just can't think of a decorative concept where you wouldn't have to design the entire room around them, and they just aren't quite fascinating enough to carry an entire room.
i like them. i think they're fun! i don't know if i'd put them in my own bathroom, but i'm a big fan of making shower space a bit more interesting and fun to look at.
I would place one above the toilet
Ugh. This is exhausting somehow. No.
