Back in 2005, British designer Tom Dixon bought this water tower in North Kensington, London. Dixon has been working with sustainable architectural firm SUSD to convert the landmark structure, 60 feet tall and capable of holding 5,000 gallons of water, into a townhouse.
According to the Daily Mail:
The tower has been fitted out to meet the highest eco-friendly standards, and a 'heat exchange' system using water pumped from the Grand Union Canal, which runs by the foot of the tower, is planned.
If you are planning a trip to London and are looking for a room with a view, you're in luck. Daily rates start at $211, and you can read more about the accommodations on Airbnb.

White Enamel Flatwa...
That's a lot of stairs! Wonder how the furniture got up there? ;)
PIVOT!
You know that's definitely an interesting use.
I would honestly never want to live there, but I wouldn't mind going there for a party!
Is it me or does the clearance area for the toilet look extremely small?
sabrina! LOL!
Iam, you don't sit at that toilet like you think you sit at that toilet. That's a Roca sink/toilet combo. You sit with your right shoulder touching the sink, not with your back to the sink (which would not be enough clearance). A very smart and eco design!
the toilet is actually the only thing i find interesting - the outside is promising, the inside i find rather boring.
@SabrinaTheDestroyer - LOL! Good one!
Would love to see pictures of the kitchen . . .
That toilet looks like a posh prison toilet
Those spaces are screaming for rugs.
I used to walk by this tower all the time - it overlooks a giant Sainsbury's - and think, 'Wow, that would make a cool flat'.
