If you liked TED, but wished for a bit more in the aesthetics department, we've got the answer: Wattson. Both measure energy use at home.
Wattson will also interact with your computer to show four weeks of energy consumption history. (well, that's the promise: at the time of this writing the software was announced, but not available.) So it's stylish, but we're still wondering if it will catch on.
Does this product appeal to you? Would you pay $300 for it, or is it something you'd use only if you got it for free?

I don't think I would spend $300 on it, maybe if it were around $50 it would be something worth buying to find out our energy usage. Free would be great too of course!
