Great round-up of ideas! I wish my medicine cabinet could look so tidy!
I'm doing this this weekend! I don't have a medicine cabinet, but a tall and narrow shelving unit in my bathroom that really needs to be pared down and organized.
The magnetic container idea is genius! I am so doing that. Right now.
Oh man, this is a never ending struggle for me. Thank you for the inspiration! I see some great ideas.
Just curious - and maybe a topic for a separate posting, but where does everyone actually keep their medicines? Bathrooms get too hot and humid, so...?
I always seem to be moving mine around, trying to find the best/most convenient place.
What a splendid set of examples! When you are tidying up your medicine cabinet, don't forget to check the expiration dates of any medicines, creams, etc. and toss any that are past their best before dates. Neater and safer!
Oceandreamer56 - I keep my medicine in the kitchen, right next to the spices and the teas. It is only one bottle. Since I drink it with tea before I go to bed I figure that would be the best spot for me. Every time I reach for the tea I see it.
Best idea here is the magnetic tins. LOVE IT! I might even put a magnetic knife rack in my bathroom and cover it with those tins.
I keep my vitamins in a kitchen cupboard near my tea. I have plastic pill box from the Container Store that I keep with the week's rations on top of the fridge. Its hard to miss.
The medicine that I take less frequently (ie head-ache medicine) is stored in the closet in my bedroom.
at first glance, i, too, thought, 'wow! those magnetic organizers are a GREAT idea!' but ... about the only thing that would fit in there is pills, and what's the point of that?
I keep my medicines and first aid kit in the linen closet, which is next to (but not in) the bathroom.
