I don't know why, but, this season I'm really attracted to dark decor — no matter the color. Well actually, yes, it does matter what color (I loathe purple). Much to my delight, dramatic and dark walls are achievable with a variety of colors — navy blue being one of my favorites.
Navy blue has always been a staple color in my wardrobe, so it's a no brainer that I would want it in my home. It's an extremely chic and classic color that (to me) exudes class and sophistication. A little navy blue paint (or an amazing navy blue couch) can really transform and elevate your home to the next level. Consider navy blue: the sleeper, we've all known about it for years and years — but now it's busting through the door demanding respect.

LOATHE purple? SMH
now i'm pining for that navy sofa. so jealous!
I love that dark denim blue denim textured wall, but isn't it painful to remove and prep for new paint?
that first room is stunning. I am with you on purple. Maybe because i have young daughters and am bombarded with lavender.
Just had to look up with SMH stands for, by the way.

Looks like a painted finish to me...
I loathe purple too. Yuck.
Blue is my favorite color, and I have navy throughout my house. Love it!
Funny that you say you love 'dark decor' but none of these images is really dark. They feel fresh, actually.
I've been debating on whether or not to order the navy slipcover for my sofa...you just made up my mind for me! I'll order today!
#2 looks like heaven on earth. Love the paint effect in #1, but 2 is...sigh...
I really love navy and caramel colored leather or deep yellow accessories. I like navy on the walls if it's done right- I can't get into glossy finishes, it always looks chintzy to me.
