If there is a single category of home decor that absolutely, positively reflects the unique personality of a dweller, it's art. Except, if you're anything like me, you struggle to actually get it up on the walls. As an art lover, I have many prints, photographs and unhung canvases all rolled up in the containers they were delivered in, stashed away in the dark corners of my closet. Every weekend comes and goes with the promise of researching a good framer near me. Sure, there are the smaller pieces I am able frame myself with a pre-matted 8x10 I can pick up at IKEA, but for those investment artworks (or anything that I want to display in an extra special way), knowing the best expert nearby that will give me fair pricing is a detail worth knowing.

With that in mind, we are turning to you, our dear readers, to share your own local sources for where you take your art to get framed. We are looking for real word-of-mouth praise for framers across the U.S., so if you have someone worth sharing, spread the love in the comments below.

Once we collect enough input, we're going to put together a city-by-city guide with your comments and suggestions so all of the Apartment Therapy community can be equipped with the knowledge to not be like me...and actually get their art framed.

Remember to share:

  • Business name
  • Location
  • Website (if available)
  • Why you're recommending them

Ready, set, share those framers!
