We’re looking for a full-time, NYC-based web/graphic designer to become a core contributor to our in-house creative team.
As our designer, you'll wear two hats: you should have experience both with designing for the web and with commercial advertising projects. Basic web skills (html, css) are key, as is deft creativity with your preferred design software.
Every day, you will be working in our bright, lively, friendly office in Soho, collaborating with our ad sales team in the office, as well as our geographically distributed tech and editorial teams. You’ll have many day-to-day digital advertising projects, including co-branded banners and micro-site web pages. You’ll also be leading more long-term site-wide and brand-wide design projects, including design of site features and media kits. Your work will be seen by millions of people every month. You’ll shape how our brand evolves as our company grows.
You should be comfortable working quickly based on client creative briefs (multiple rounds of approval on quick timelines are our client’s expectations in our fast-paced environment). We’re looking for someone who loves what they do and is a highly motivated team player with excellent project management and follow-through. A passion for home design is a plus.
Apartment Therapy and The Kitchn are dedicated to helping people make their homes more beautiful, healthy & organized. Our combined audience exceeds 14 million unique visitors per month and growing.
