This past weekend we had our first front yard BBQ (actually, just outside on our stoop), and now we're thinking of moving many of our future meals outdoors, since the weather is perking up and there's a bounty of farmer's market summer produce waiting to be grilled. But dining in the dark isn't too fun (well, unless you find
dining in the dark a novel concept), and our apartment doesn't have outdoor lighting on the side or back areas where we grill. So we're a bit curious about the
Weber Lunette Light, a mod-design battery powered lamp that supposedly glows for up to 15 hours. Seems like a possible picnic table centerpiece, with all the positive reviews (though a few recommend investing in rechargeable batteries) and painless price.

Have you seen the Luau Rechargeable Lantern from the MoMA Design Store? It is soooo great, for indoor AND outdoor use! You can charge the lamp and take it outside with you for your BBQ's...a fabulous thing to have for your summer entertaining!!! http://www.momastore.org/museum/moma/ProductDisplay_Luau Rechargeable Lantern_10451_10001_33889_-1_11548_13152_null__
I have and I like it...except I can't justify the $225 price tag.
