As we're sure you've heard: For the first time in history, in 2016 Pantone named two shades at their annual Color of the Year announcement. The two hues of honor, Rose Quartz and Serenity, actually play really well together. Which makes us immediately conjure up dazzling visions of a potential pastel-painted wedding palette that would be totally on-trend for 2016.

If you need proof that Pantone's colors are perfect for your big day, check out this Vintage Chic French Wedding shot by Anne-Claire Brun and featured on Wedding Chicks. The pink and blue palette of this countryside wedding extends to everything from the invitation to the attire. And of course, Pantone's trendy shades are woven all throughout the decor and flowers, too–don't you just love how festive those paper lanterns are above?
