Day 23: Friday, February 1
Assignment: Enjoy your first weekend in your "Cured" home
Ta-da! A round of applause! You made it. I know its been a busy month - I think we collectively gave the word "homework" a whole new meaning this January. But, for now, it's time to put away the vacuum, give the outbox the side eye and just relax and enjoy your successes. It's time to celebrate.
• You've got your first full weekend off in a month - relax and celebrate!
Before we all get caught up in our busy lives again, please take a moment or two to stop, look around and appreciate the effort you put into your home in the past month. Yes, there will always be more to do, but it's important to pause and just appreciate where you are at and see how far you've come before moving on. As Maxwell often says, nothing you ever do for your home is wasted. I'm sure, in lots of ways, big and small, your home is a better place than it was a month ago, thanks to YOU.
For those of you hosting a Cure-end gathering, I hope it's a wonderful way to wrap up this experience and that you and your fellow-gatherers have fun!
I'd like to finish off by giving a sincere thank you to everyone who participated in the January Cure. We'd been looking forward to it for months behind the scenes and the energy and positivity that all of you brought to it has been remarkable. No matter how many (or how few) of the assignments you were able to tackle this month, my hope is that it was worthwhile and that your home is a little bit closer to the place you want it to be. Now, enjoy the rest of 2013 and keep up the good work!
