Weekend Field Trip: Jayson Home's Flea

I'm just back from Jayson Home and their always awesome Flea Market is on this weekend. This time around, it's a little bit classic antique, a big bit disco-fabulous and all VERY French. In other words, a good representation of what is hot right now in Vintage. Take a peek at some of my favorite finds...

The main indoor room of the Flea features these Vintage Mirrored Balls, originally from the Yves St. Laurent Boutique in Paris.

I love this mixed greens pop mirror. Super seventies-style, from France.

This would be such a pretty kitchen table. Elegant lines, small scale and a truly gorgeous white marble top.

Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin round swivel chair, newly reupholstered in green velvet. Circa 1970, via Palm Beach.

A slightly blurry pic (sorry!) but I had to include it because this is such a great looking bar cart. A timeless vintage French design with a brass frame and smoked glass. Want it!

For anyone in Chicago, the official "Flea" is open through the weekend, with the pieces becoming available online starting 10/15. It's absolutely worth a look, as always, and is a perfect Saturday or Sunday quick, fun diversion.
