Hold the presses and hold the phone we have some science to discuss! I've been a long time fan of the ever-loved childhood favorite, the bouncy ball and I'm sure I'm not the only one. They come in so many pretty colors, but did you know you can make them at home. From normal household stuff? Science is spectacular and so is this diy!

Did you know you could make your own bouncy ball? I sure didn't! Apparently they're rather easy to create with a little borax, cornstarch, white glue (or gel glue), warm water and food coloring. That's it. No really. No tricks, nothing else to buy, just a few instructions to follow.

It could be a fun project to take on with a group of kids over the Thanksgiving vacation or just your own from the comfort of your own home. You can find all the instructions on About.com and just in case you didn't think we would — we're totally demanding photos of your final product!
