  • Green Drinks - Holiday Party
    • All the greatest 'green' groups get together to host a party for anyone working on environmental issues, studying them, or thinking green--to network and be social.
    • Tuesday, December 13th, 2005, 7-10
    • Sweet and Vicious Bar, 5 Spring Street, between Elizabeth and Bowery
    • Light food, $10 cover
  • Unsilent Night (the Christmas Piece)
    • Phil Kline produced a score to be played on a limitless number of boomboxes
    • December 18th, 7-8pm.
    • Meet at the Arch in Washington Square at 6:45 pm. Walk from Washington Square Park to Tompkins Square Park. Bring boombox if you have one.
  • Vivavi Showroom Opening and Holiday Party
    • Evening of Sustainable Design (guests receive a black walnut necklace)
    • Screening of Scrapile: A Look Inside
    • December 15th, 7-11pm

  • Dyker Heights Christmas Lights
    • Lawns on Tenth Avenue are littered with high-voltage dioramas, 20-foot toys, and life-size reindeer. Approximately 100,000 people visit each season

  • City Harvest's New York Canned Food Drive
    • Organize your office, school, community center or place of worship in collecting non-perishable food items and donate them to City Harvest. They will pick up donations of 100 pounds or more.
    • November 14, 2005 - January 6, 2006
    • If you collect less than 100 pounds or you can't organize a food drive, drop off food donations at your local firehouse.
