Tonight is Project Runway night at my house. A couple of friends and I gather weekly for some food, drinks, chat, and very attentive PR viewing. We've been involved in other weekly gatherings at friends' homes in the past, and think the ritual aspect is both comforting/chill and entertaining/social...
Whether a weekly game night, favorite t.v. show viewing, craft club, book club, or any hundreds of things people dream up, if you don't have a weekly ritual, fall/winter is a great time to start one.

My college roommates and I used to host Project Runway nights at out apartment and it was so much fun! I've been thinking of resurrecting them now that I've moved to a new city... it seems like a great way to make new friends.
I'm braced and prepared.
BTW, has anyone been following the Phillippe Starck reality show/competition, "School of Design," on BBC2? I've only seen the first episode, which was unintentionally hilarious for a variety of reasons.
Oops, it's actually called "Design For Life," and yes, I know there's only one L in Philippe.
We have a weekly Project Runway night with some friends too! We take turns cooking dinner and settle in to eat and watch the show.
We love it. :-)
It's not on tonight. At least according to the Bravo website. I guess they're skipping a week??
Oops, I forgot it's not on Bravo anymore! Wow, long week...

Sorry, lilcafe!!
my roomies used to have project runway and american idol nights... i miss those days!
