We all know that going overboard with a theme can spell disaster, but there are tasteful ways to incorporate something you love into the way you live. By limiting yourself to a few choice objects, you can decorate around a theme and not end up in the design doghouse. Here are some recent finds:

Great clarification, boomer. I DESPISE companies that misrepresent giclees as anything but cheap reproductions. "Giclee" essentially means "crappier than a lithograph."
Yeah, dogs! I collect old dog paintings, and have them grouped together on one wall in my bedroom. One looks sort of lame . . . all together, it has a great impact.
I like that Birdy collects dogs. Haha...

I love that you didn't think breed specific when going canine with your designs, because I find most all dogs adorable. The variety of doggie inspired design is also quite refreshing. Not your usual fare--and I have a good notion of what's out there -- my mama is dog crazy so I've perused quite a bit of doggie themed stuff.
