We're happy to announce the new addition to our editorial team at Ohdeedoh - Tammy. She is based in Vancouver, British Columbia and is a freelance writer and mom of two. She had this to say during the tryout process (which we think is right up the Ohdeedoh alley): "I firmly believe that you can have kids and be surrounded by kid things without sacrificing either your aesthetic sensibilities or your credit card. In fact, I'd argue that being filled with kids' things has enriched my home in ways I'd never expected." Absolutely! Jump below for links to Tammy's tryout posts:
Baby Buddha Stretchy Carrier
Moby Dick: A Pop-Up Book
Nursery Tour: Sam's "Zen Toddler" Space
and her first "official" post from earlier today:
Welcome, Tammy!

Welcome!
Yay Tammy!
Thanks for the lovely welcome. I've dreamed of writing for Ohdeedoh since way back when it was AT Nursery, so I'm beyond thrilled to be here. I've got a gazillion post ideas, but I'm wide open to suggestions, too. Email me!
Woo hoo Tammy!
Congratulations, Tammy! Very well deserved. Your tryout posts were witty and smart. Have fun.

Yay, Tammy! I was rooting for you!
Thanks so much, Megan. I really enjoyed your posts, too, as well as your blog. Your girls' room is lovely, and after seeing your rooster wall applique, I'm eyeballing a space on Sam's wall where an alligator would look pretty cool.
And thanks again, everyone. Though I may have to retrench a bit on my initial quote about kids' things. There are a thousand pieces of Lego all over my living room floor right now, and I'm not sure how "enriched" I feel about them. ;)
