We're huge fans of Parisian pastry chef Pierre Hermé's incredible macarons and have even stood in line to get a taste. So we were excited to see that The Selby
got a peek inside Hermé's Paris apartment. The apartment has the great bones typical of Parisian apartments —a gorgeous fireplace, the chevron patterned floors, and huge windows. Hermé's decorating tastes seem to lean towards modern clean lines, and he uses an AT favorite to warm the space up — books!
Hermé has filled the shelves with books, there are books in the kitchen, and there are stacks of books on the table. He's done a great job of accessorizing the shelves — they're not too full and he's sprinkled in objet d'art to give the shelves some visual interest.
