As part of our cure, we're seriously thinking about painting our bathroom. So, this past weekend, while we checked out the exhibitors at West Coast Green, we kept a look out for zero-VOC paint companies.
The first one we came across was Arizona-based Green Planet Paints.
We really liked their palette of colors and the paint's rustic, thick finish. The samples in their booth had an interesting quality -- you could really see the brush strokes. It's not for everyone; but, luckily, for those who want a smoother look, Green Planet Paints is coming out with an eggshell and semi-gloss as well as some more colors in early 2008.
Aside from the colors and finish? The paint is zero-VOC, soy-based, and colored with mineral pigments.
Cool stuff.

Someone told me that it's the VOC that keeps it on the wall. Wouldn't it be better in the long run to have a Low-VOC instead of a Zero-VOC, so you don't have to keep spending time and money on the upkeep?
