Project by: Lindsay Boswell and Ali Levin of LABLstudio
Location: West Village, NYC

New York-based designers Lindsay Boswell and Ali Levin have recently launched their interior and product design collaboration known as LABLstudio. And judging from this West Village bachelor pad they designed and updated, they make a great design team.

From Lindsay and Ali:

Our client, Erik, was a bachelor in his early 30's who had been living in the same one bedroom, pre-war apartment in the heart of the West Village for many, many years.

Most of his furniture had come with him to New York after college, and still remained. Needless to say, it was time for an update!

Erik's style was classic mid-century modern mixed with some unexpected industrial, traveled, and street-style influences.

With some fresh coats of paint, a thorough cleaning, some rearranging of the layout, and some new statement furniture pieces and lighting, we were able to give Erik what felt like a totally new apartment, all while keeping within a pretty tight budget.

Thanks Lindsay and Ali!
