Frankie painted the living room walls Straw by Benjamin Moore to give it some warmth — because the apartment receives a colder, northern light: “If the apartment had southern light, I wouldn’t use these colors,” Ms. Foye said. “I love the interplay of light and dark, shadows and sun here.”

It's a lovely, liveable space.
I too painted several rooms in Benjamin Moore "Straw." I almost shied away from it initially as it looks a little beigy-tan on the chip (I'm not a big fan of beige--I crave colour), but across the broad expanse of a wall, it has a soft, warm golden glow--enough hue to be an actual colour but not so much colour as to overwhelm the space. It functions as a neutral without actually being beige. It's a fantastic, liveable shade of paint.
